Long distance affair

Dear Pastor,

I live in Canada and I have been deeply in love with a Jamaican man for the past three years. We talk on the phone a lot, but I am not sure if I should continue the long distance relationship.

He told me that he did not have any lady friends and he truly loved me, but I do not trust him. I think about him all the time, we are like soul mates.

What should I do?

R.M., Toronto, Canada

Dear R. M.,

I don't understand what this guy means when he said that he didn't have "lady friends". It would be indeed very strange if all his friends were men. I wonder why you don't trust him. If you don't have any confidence in him, you should tell him so and move on with your life.

Pastor
