Dear Pastor,
I have a boyfriend who lives in another parish and we see each other once in a while. He seems to be too nice. Nothing I do offends him; he is a great listener, but he should learn to save more money and stop being broke at the end or middle of the month.
I am a Christian and I do not think I love him anymore. I am really in love with a blast from the past that recently reappeared in my life. What should I do?

Dear L. R.,
Tell the young man who lives outside your parish that you are not in love with him. Tell him also that he should learn to manage his money. Don't try to fool him. The world says that men fool women all the time by lying to them. Some women lie to men too but as a Christian, you have to be straightforward and truthful. So, tell this brother that you are not interested in him so he should look elsewhere.
I hope your "old fire stick" really and truly loves you as much as you love him. I wish both of you well.
Pastor
